At Carden Hall Junior High students begin to discover who they are and who they are are becoming. Through meaningful academic challenge and opportunities to lead, they develop the confidence, character, and independence to thrive in high school and beyond. 

 

Preparing to Soar

Guided by dedicated teachers in a structured, supportive environment, students are encouraged to think critically, communicate thoughtfully, and take increasing ownership of their learning. Along the way, they strengthen academic confidence, personal responsibility, while exploring interests and leadership opportunities, preparing them to meet new challenges with purpose.

Junior High Capstone Experiences

  • Kindergarten Buddy Program: where eighth graders serve as role models and mentors to younger learners
  • Eighth Grade Musical Production: an opportunity to showcase creativity, collaboration, and confidence through performance
  • Community Service: projects that cultivate compassion, responsibility, and a heart for serving others
  • Leadership in School Assemblies: presentations and special roles that strengthen public speaking and confidence
  • Science Fair: Research and presentation that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and the communication of complex ideas

By applying their cumulative knowledge in authentic ways, students leave Carden Hall prepared to lead, serve, and thrive in high school and beyond.
