After-school Enrichment Programs
At Carden Hall we offer a variety of after-school programs so that students can explore their world, nurture their imaginations, and develop their talents. Offerings include visual and performing arts, science, sports, and foreign languages. Carden Hall teachers share their special interests as they serve as instructors for these fun courses
Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten Extension
This program allows our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students to play independently or to play with their peers for one hour after the regular school day.
Time: 2:00-3:00 p.m. daily
Late Zone/Second Pickup
If your car is not in the lot before 3:00, your children will be sent to Late Zone. Once the 3:00 lot has been emptied, they will walk to your car or will check into Extended Care if you have not arrived.
Late Zone/Second Pickup Time: 3:10-3:20 p.m.
This is a quiet place for students in grades 5-8 to work on their homework and to study offered on Monday through Thursday. Students may not leave Study Hall early.
Time: 3:05-4:05 p.m.
Extended Care includes snack time, indoor and outdoor games, and free play out on the playground or inside once it gets dark.
Time: 3:35–6:00 p.m. (K–8); 3:35–4:30 p.m. (Pre-K)
We offer a variety of after-school programs.
After-School Sports Programs
Students in Grades 6-8 may try out for our after-school sports teams. They compete against many other schools in the Tri-way League.
